There are so many moving parts, so many big bets being made -- from cloud-based software distribution, identity management and storage, to the federation and portability of conversations and data across enterprise applications, whether the infrastructure is on premises in the cloud, or something in between
This is a highly desired approach, especially from a customer service and consumer purchasing perspective
When you move to cloud options, there are some basic business questions you need to answer before you do anything: Who owns the data while it is in the cloud?...Does the supplier make any kind of use of the data while it is in the cloud?

While not inclusive, the options are: set up a drag and drop move for a weekend as the move may take 24 to 36 hours; set up an FTP move that allows you to move files to an FTP site and then to the cloud application; send the vendor a backup of the files on a hard drive or the vendor may have its own mass migration service
Thinking about moving to the cloud or establishing a cloud information management system can be both exciting and nerve racking. There are many good reasons and benefits for getting a site but there are as many reasons why the cloud can be a risky proposition
