But within the ECRM industry Microsoft continues to rack up impressive gains with SharePoint and the entire industry has become confused over whether they co-exist or compete with SharePoint . (Hint: both.) SharePoint has some limitations, but it is still king in a market where unstructured data is not only growing, but accelerating in growth

In order to achieve those benefits, your SharePoint installation needs be governed – needs to have policies and procedures instituted that direct SharePoint to behave the way that you want

What does that have to do with SharePoint? It depends. I have had many discussions recently with folks who tell me there has been a mandate within their organizations for SharePoint use across the enterprise
