What is a metadata profile?

    Good day everyone,

    As per the Electronic records as documentary evidence, an "organization metadata profile shall be established for records".

    I'm confused as to what a "metadata profile" is.   I've connected with my IT department and googled this term and still not sure.

    Can anyone provide some helpful information/ links?
