Just sharing two snippets of interest from the ESPC 2023 Microsoft 365 conference in Amsterdam:
- SharePoint Syntex has been rebranded to SharePoint Premium (was announced just before the conference). It now offers intelligent document processing, document creation, advanced SharePoint governance and 'premium business document management' aka contract management and digital signatures.
- A scoop: the newly announced Repository Services got its official branding: Sharepoint Embedded. This could be a gamechanger, as it offers API- based integration capabilities for core SharePoint file repository services, and we can expect lots of systems of record integrations (mostly by 3rd parties) moving forward.
