New England Chapter

We have a decent number of people in this group, but it doesn't seem to be too active. Let's try and change that by infusing some more conversations and networking amongst each other. 

Good morning Richard,  always nice to connect with fellow New Englanders over IG/IM.  What are the top three priorities people are focused on today?  Mine 1. Piloting AI and listing benefits and concerns associated with use.  2. Data Minimization.  Still chipping away at the historical ROT 3. Reviewing/updating established procedures to apply lessons learned.  Of course my real list has many many more but I keep coming back to these this week.

Looking forward to some Octoberfest and apple picking this weekend.

We've got a few always in air. Currently one of my largest is working on my firm's data map (1). Aside from the basic day to day data all our end users see and interact with, this is looking at from the larger view, what systems do we have, what data does it house/collect, and who has access to it. Then there's helping work on the disposition of older material that has reached end of life (2). And working on letting other IG/RM users (different titles based on workflow in each office) about security measures needed for some records.
