  • Interested in taking the 2023 Certified Information Professional Beta Exam?

    Together with leaders in the information management industry, the Association for Intelligent Information Management (AIIM) updates the Certified Information Professional (CIP) exam every three years to ensure the exam is relevant to today’s workplace situations.

    Beta exams are a critical part of updating the exam and CIP. That’s why AIIM is seeking approximately 150 Beta exam test-takers to ensure that the CIP exam is technically accurate and reliable. 

    • Beta test takers receive a 50% discount off the exam fee. 
    • Beta test takers will need to take the exam during the 4-week Beta window in September 2023.
    • Beta test takers may also be asked to respond to a survey about their experience taking the exam.
    • Upon completion of the beta exam, participants can expect the results to be returned within 8 weeks, and successful candidates will be awarded the prestigious CIP credential.
