1,400 and Going Strong
Pamela Doyle, Director
Fujitsu Computer Products of America
It’s hard to believe it has been nine years since we began delivering the AIIM training programs to our internal team and partners. To date we’ve delivered over 1,400 trainings. Why did we do this, why will we continue, and even more importantly why has Fujitsu supported this? Here are a few of the reasons why:
- We wanted to empower our staff and partners to deliver successful Enterprise Content Management solutions
- We wanted to keep them relevant with best practice and state of the industry
- We wanted to provide them with credentials that substantiate their knowledge and value in a competitive landscape
- It provided us with an opportunity to network and learn from our partners
Why did we choose the AIIM programs? Knowing that AIIM is our industry association we knew they drew upon their vast member community to develop programs that truly solve today’s information management business problems. Initially we used the Capture and ECM programs to establish baseline knowledge. Currently we are delivering Information Governance as we believe this will help them prepare for the future as more organizations are moving from a traditional records management perspective to a broader information governance focus as they face the challenges of growing volumes of content in mobile, social and big data world.
We’re fourteen hundred and going strong! We believe and practice that knowledge is power!
