This week we meet Michelle Turner, Professional Development Advisor. Michelle has worked with AIIM since March 2008 - but really since October 2007 as she started on a temporary project and was so great that we made her an offer! She is from Gaithersburg, Maryland and now lives in Washington, District of Columbia with her significant other, Charlie. They enjoy traveling and wonderful weekend adventures, from having fun with the grandkids, to trying their luck in the casino - while the casino may be exciting, spending time with the grandkids is the best bet! What do you do and what do love about it?
I am AIIM’s Professional Development Advisor and my role is to provide AIIM Members information about our training courses, conferences, and professional membership. I am a people-person and I love reaching out to the AIIM Community and providing them with the best customer assistance possible.
It was very nice meeting people in-person at the AIIM Conference 2014. I have spoken to them on the phone, helped them get what they need, and then had a chance to talk to them in person - that was fun.

What are you proudest of?
Professionally, transitioning from processing Title & Escrow documents for years to Professional Development and Sales where my customer service skills are key to seeking out and answering customers' needs.
What movie, no matter how many times you’ve seen it, do you have to watch when it’s on?
Pretty Woman, it’s such a romantic movie.

Burnt Orange - think of a pumpkin.
What do you do for fun?
Round up the grandkids and go see an Animated or 3D Movie then just hang out afterwards, because I get a chance to spend time with my favorite little people.
