Like many company’s UAMS has numerous applications for various reasons and our main inquires when purchasing new applications is if they can be implemented with our existing systems. UAMS ERP software is SAP (Systems, Applications, Projects in Data processing) and a lot of our Content Management information supports data that we share. We have implemented several different concepts to combine this information, one includes using ApplicationXtender for SAP. Linking these systems together provides a seamless bridge between the documents and data associated with many critical business processes, improving efficiency and enabling UAMS to get the most out of the SAP investment. The other is an in-house design option which pulls in data from SAP and perform the query and provide the information upon request. It provides users with the ability to transparently access, manage and view documents and other content.

With the utilization of ApplicationXtender for SAP, links all of our requested enterprise content to SAP. ApplicationXtender for SAP consist of two components – the release script for SAP and the Data Upload Utility. The release script for SAP allows data to be shared between the applications. The Data Upload Utility polls the ApplicationXtender repository for new documents or other content. Through a scheduled or event-driven process, new content will be identified, matched with a corresponding SAP business event, and linked to the appropriate process.
We also have a module that will facilitates the electronic presentation of statements, bills, explanations of benefits, and other business information. You can automatically capture and ingest business reports such as computer output to laser disc (COLD). Enterprise Relationship Management (ERP) using ApplicationXtender Reports Management. ApplicationXtender customers can easily capture and view streaming computer output, allowing all major types of this information to be stored alongside other business content, saving effort, time, and money
Be sure to acquire a certified partner to help you start this implementation to help make a smoother transitioning. Sometimes new processes or software come with gliches and a not as they were presented at the Sales meeting. We know every company is different, so minor tweaks are expected to help smooth out the new process before you are left to tackle the procedure and system by yourself.
