I have had extensive experience in all phases of information systems development, including strategic planning, architecture design and implementation, document analysis and architecture, business and situation analysis, and data architecture.  Prior to joining Perficient, I was the ECM Practice Director at Canon Technology Solutions, responsible for the all aspects of the ECM consulting practice.

I was the Senior Director responsible for Business Solutions and Global Alliances at Hummingbird.  I developed solutions that leveraged the Hummingbird content management functionality in addressing contract management, the integration with a GIS environment, and compliance regulations, specifically Sarbanes-Oxley.  I also was responsible for recruiting and managing strategic partnerships, both services and technologies. 

I have worked as a Research Director at Gartner, focusing on the Integrated Document Management market.  In this position, I was an advisor to both end-users and vendors on the best practices and trends in the content management market.  My coverage not only included documents but also included digital asset management and digital rights management.   I was also responsible providing research coverage on the Life Sciences industry.  This coverage included written research, inquiry support, and strategic sessions with both Life Sciences organizations and the vendor community.

Prior to joining Gartner, I was a consultant at CSC Consulting where I designed and implemented Documentum for Fortune 100 companies.  I led an effort to formalize a document management practice, based on Documentum, within CSC Consulting.  I served as a Subject Matter Expert for the Life Sciences Industry where I facilitated workshops to define operational processes and develop system requirements, and provided expertise and guidance in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of document management systems.

Prior to my consulting experience I engaged in technology management for R&D divisions of major pharmaceutical companies and network design for health care systems. I have over twenty five years of experience in the information systems profession.  In addition, I have spoken at AIIM 2003 and 2006, 2002 DIA Document Management Conference, Keynote Speaker at AIIM 2001, and the AIIM Leadership Meeting.  I have a BSEE from Drexel University.
