  • AIIM True North webinar Oct 28 - Aligning Systems Development and Implementation with Your Organizat

    Oct 28, 13:00 - 14:00 (ET)
AIIM True North would like to invite you to a webinar on Oct 28, 2021 at 1:00 PM ET.  The presentation will discuss lessons learned to align system development processes with RIM requirements. This webinar is eligible for 1.0 CEUPlease use the CEU submission process at this link: CIP Renewal.

Title: Aligning Systems Development and Implementation with Your Organization's RIM Requirements or RIM is Vital to Systems Development and Implementation?

    Description:
What does it take to ensure the systems you develop or acquire align with your RIM requirements? This session will offer you guidance to increase the odds of compliance with your organization's RIM goals. Over 20 years ago I realized the disconnect between those who bought/built systems and compliance with records and information management requirements. Now my time is spent making that connection. The last few decades have also demonstrated the need to transform records and information management to meet the needs of the digital transformation of our businesses and government agencies as well as how records and information management professionals can use artificial intelligence to support the ever-expanding role we play. This story began in 2000 with an awareness of a gap I saw when I started working with software developers and how the gap is now being filled through the work I do daily. This includes DevOps and SaaS solutions.

    Date: Thursday, October 28, 2021
Time: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM ET

    Learning Objectives:
--RIM’s critical partners must be involved in the SDLC process (waterfall or agile) from the earliest stages to ensure systems properly manage information asset across the information lifecycle.
--As part of the SDLC process, your RIM program must build, maintain, and update, as needed, a framework in order to provide current requirements information and manage your part of the review process, including tracking changes using Agile and DevOps processes
--Not all systems are able to adequately manage and disposition records and information. The process created must also be able to review and grant exceptions and suggest workarounds when issues arise.

Speaker's Bio: Tod Chernikoff is a Certified Records Manager, an Information Governance Professional and a Certified Information Professional. AIIM True North would like to invite you to a webinar on Dec 7, 2021 at 12:30 PM ET.  The presentation will examine and dispel some misconceptions of AI as a solution for every digital transformation business challenge. This webinar is eligible for 1.0 CEUPlease use the CEU submission process at this link: CIP Renewal.

Title: The Practical Truth of AI, Machine Learning, and Robotic Process Automation

    Description:
The terms Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) today are bandied about as if they are the digital transformation solution to every business problem you face. However, the truth is that they do not represent some sort of “magic pill” and – as is the case for any technology – have to be evaluated in terms of your use case and business context.
Otherwise, they serve only as the latest example of over-hyped “shiny new objects” whose real-world value is hard to determine. This session destroys the common myths and resets expectations so you can make the best decision possible about the role these tools may play in your organization’s digital transformation journey.

    Date:
    Tuesday, Dec 7, 2021
Time: 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM ET

    Learning Objectives:
After attending this session, you will be better able to:
--Cut through the hype and assess AI technologies' business value in the context of digital transformation

--Explain to others what are AI technologies, what they do, and what they don’t do
--Evaluate whether and/or how to employ AI technologies to maximum effect in your business context and digital transformation journey

    Mar 23, 12:30 - 13:30 (ET)

AIIM True North would like to invite you to a webinar on Mar 23, 2022 at 12:30 PM ET.  The presentation will discuss the key steps to optimize business processes in order to benefit from digital transformation and RPA. You can register here.

Title: What are the key steps to optimize processes for digital transformation?

Description: All too often, companies invest in digital transformation applications like robotic process automation (RPA) and AI, and expect to layer them over the existing business and operational processes. At best, this creates an inefficient process, and at worst this magnifies defects in the process. Unfortunately, companies only focus on implementing RPA and AI technologies and then expect people and processes to manifest optimal operating processes. This results in the project failing to deliver the expected benefits. To properly adopt and benefit from digital transformation, companies need to examine their process landscape and carefully plan the transformation strategy by starting with people and processes, and then bringing in the technology. This presentations will discuss the key steps to optimize business processes in order to benefit from digital transformation and RPA.
