Led by Jeffrey Lewis AIIM Fellow #235 AIIM’s BIPOC Network would like to provide 12 week CIP Study group sessions to free to AIIM Members.
Each session will be held 6.30pm – 7.30pm ET and based on the CIP Exam Blueprint the sessions will follow this schedule and content;
Session 1: April 9th – Domain 1: Creating, Capturing and Sharing Information
Session 2: April 23rd – Domain 2: Extracting Intelligence from Information
Session 3: May 7th – Domain 3: Digitalizing Information-Intensive Processes
Session 4: May 21st – Domain 4: Automating Governance and Compliance
Session 5: June 4th – Domain 5: Implementing an Information Management Solution
Session 6: June 18th – Catch up, Questions, Exam Tips, Best Practices
IMPORTANT! The goal of these Study Group sessions is to provide a final review sessions to those interested in taking the CIP. It is not a substitute for studying for the exam. We highly recommend studying each domain from the AIIM CIP Study Guide prior to attending each session and the exam. AIIM Members are able to download the CIP Study Guide as part of AIIM+ or AIIM+ Pro Membership.
Each registration for the study group registers for the block of study sessions, and to ensure interaction, the group will be capped at 20 people. We highly suggest that anyone taking these study sessions aim to take the exam prior to the end of Summer 2026. The CIP Exam has an additional fee of $450.
A closed community on community.aiim.org will be created for registrants to enable conversation and sharing outside the sessions.
Each session will be held on Teams, and joining instructions will be shared nearer the start date.
