AIIM True North would like to invite you to a webinar on October 22, 2020 at 12PM ET. The presentation will discuss blockchain for records management and explain the risk and audit considerations.
Title: Blockchain DLT: Records, Rewards and Risks
Description: Blockchain is a decentralized, immutable, and cryptographically secure distributed ledger technology (DLT), broadly used to eliminate the need for trust in data transfer. Blockchain technologies are being explored for diverse applications across numerous market sectors—but the application is not without risks. Guided by a moderator, the four panelists will provide a brief review of the technology, present uses cases, explore questions asked by practicing records managers, and explain the risk and audit considerations that must be examined before implementing a blockchain solution. After the presentation, the moderator will facilitate a Q&A session.
Date: Thursday, October 22, 2020
Time: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM ET
Learning Objective: Learn how to use tools to assess the costs, benefits, and risks of deploying a blockchain solution.
