Joan Curran Darkortey, EMBA, CLSSGB, CIPSr. RIM Analyst | Records and Information Management
Joan works as a Senior RIM Analyst and Consultant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta (FRBA). She is responsible for promoting RIM compliance and awareness, providing enterprise training and managing the RIM Liaison program. She is an O365 Adoption Champion and the immediate past Secretary of the Federal Reserve System’s Records Management Forum (RMF). Joan also serves as co-chair of the Diversity Advisory Council (DAC), a key partner and advisory group to the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODE&I) and the Executive Leadership Committee on the FRBA’s diversity, equity and inclusion practices and strategy.
Joan holds a B.A. in Political Science from Emory University, a paralegal degree from Clayton State University and an Executive MBA in Business Strategy from Cleveland State University. She is a certified litigation paralegal, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a certified information professional (CIP).
She is the 2014 recipient of the Crain’s Cleveland 40 under 40, FRBA Corporate Citizenship Award (2017), Cleveland State University Alumni Board Outstanding Public Service Award (2017), and lifetime member of the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society.
