Founded in 1908 by an electrical engineer, Stephen Briggs and a grain merchant, Harold Stratton, Briggs & Stratton has been at the forefront of small engine design since the dawn of the automotive age.  Today, Briggs & Stratton is the world's largest producer of gas engines for lawn mowers, snow blowers, portable generators, pressure washers, and other outdoor power equipment.  In 2019, the company has more than 5,000 employees and its products are designed, manufactured, sold and serviced in over 100 countries across six continents.

The continuous learning and innovation that lead Briggs & Stratton to the forefront of small engine design and manufacturing has also kept the company at the forefront of information management.  Today, the same innovation that has built Briggs & Stratton into a global manufacturer over the past 11 decades is being applied to innovate and automate records and information management across the organization.  Briggs and Stratton has embarked on a long term journey that will include further integration and automation across Briggs & Stratton's enterprise information management platforms, including ECM, ERP and collaboration tools.

The presentation will provide attendees with an overview of both the challenges and opportunities Briggs & Stratton faces as it embarks on a long-term plan to automate and innovate records and information management across the organization.
