Hello everyone,
I've never posted here and I'm fairly new to this community. I wanted to reach out today because my company is sponsoring a podcast that I'm hosting with my colleague Lynn Molfetta highlighting careers of women paving the way for IG/IM. I'm looking for interview candidates. Do you know someone who would be a good person to interview? A mentor? A Boss? You?
A little background about the podcast: After attending AIIM in Dallas in March, I noticed how many of the attendees were women. These women are intelligent, forward-thinking people - but don't see themselves as "experts" in the field. Yet they are the ones doing a lot of the work "in the trenches" and are probably better experts than a lot of the Subject Matter Experts (who seem to me to be mostly men).
My colleague Lynn and I wanted to show other women in the field that women CAN be successful in this field. Many of us just need confidence and mentorship to realize this success - no matter what our backgrounds. What better way to boost confidence in our colleagues than highlight the stories and experiences of women who have been incredibly successful in this field?
Hence, the "Women in IG Podcast" was born.
