Sorry for cross-posting. This group is just so supportive. The dictionary is one of my most important professional achievements and I wanted to share it. This is a project I have been managing, researching, and writing for since late 2012. Of course, still a lot left to do. Writing dictionaries is hard work. This would not have happened at all without my amazing team and the organizational support from the Society of American Archivists.

On behalf of the Society of American Archivists, I am pleased to present the Dictionary of Archives Terminology (DAT)(https://dictionary.archivists.org).

Compiled by SAA's Dictionary Working Group, the DAT expands upon A Glossary of Archival and Records Terminology by Richard Pearce-Moses (SAA, 2005). With hundreds of new terms, thousands of citations from more than 600 sources, and a brand-new online platform, it's a major upgrade. You can learn more from the news release at https://www2.archivists.org/news/2020/new-dictionary-of-archives-terminology-launched or the DAT About page.

Also, we hope you are subscribed to Word of the Week (https://www2.archivists.org/word-of-the-week), a weekly e-blast that delivers archives terminology straight to your email inbox.

We still have a lot to do since dictionaries are never finished. We welcome your feedback. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate contacting me.

    Best wishes to all.

    Rosemary
