Missed AIIM 2014? Or did you just miss out on a session or three you wanted to see? In the coming weeks, we'll be sharing many of the presentations with you. Actionable advice and thought leadership brought to you by some of the smartest people in the information technology industry.

Megan Sibbert presented Wild West to Civilization: Governing SharePoint.

Do you have a SharePoint environment that has grown over time with no rules? Do you know what’s in your SharePoint environment? Do you know how people are using SharePoint? If the answer is no, come hear how the City of Bellevue’s SharePoint environment went from the Wild West to a governed system for communication, collaboration, and content management through the use of focus groups and end user driven design.

Megan is ECM Business Manager, City of Bellevue, WA. She attended the Western Washington University Archives and Records Management program in Bellingham, Washington and started her career as a processing archivist. After serving in the role of Assistant Archivist she moved on to work for the Records Management Services program at the University of Washington where she focused on conducting trainings and workshops, assisting in the day to day management of the University records center, and developing record retention schedules. At the City of Bellevue, Megan’s focus has been on implementation and support of the City’s Enterprise Content Management program.
